FAQ

Asked often, answered plainly.

The questions Kasey hears most, and her answers.

In Kasey’s words

How much does it cost to work with you?

Our initial meeting is complimentary. From there, we have various ways to work with us that have different costs. You get to pick the one that fits you best.

How much money do I need to retire?

That is a great question, and it is one I cannot answer without learning more about you. We have to know things like your budget, income, debt, current savings and other important facts. I would love the opportunity to get to know you better so I can give you more insight.

Should I invest or pay down debt?

We work with you to gather information and understand your current situation as well as your future plans. That helps us provide advice on what is right for you at this time. Let us walk you through the process so we can determine the right answer for you.

Is now a good time to invest?

Because we never know what the market is going to do, we will never know the “perfect” time to invest. What is more important to know is how long this money needs to be working for you: five, ten, twenty years or more? That timeline is where the conversation starts.

How do you decide what investments to use?

I do not look for the “hottest” investments or try to predict what the next winning investment will be. I start by looking at your goals, timeline, risk tolerance and tax situation. Then I build a portfolio designed to fit you.

When should I take Social Security?

This is another question that depends heavily on each person. I need to understand your particular situation before I can give any advice. When you should take it varies from person to person, and there are several factors to consider: when you want to retire, whether you are going to work part time, how much you will receive, and more.

A question that is not here?

Ask it. The first conversation is where most of these get a real answer, because the answer depends on you.
